Redemption Portal Guide

Everything your team needs to verify, redeem, and flag BettahMe reward codes at the counter — no account required, just your business PIN.

What the portal is for

A customer redeeming a BettahMe reward will show you a code like GC-4F82K1 — printed, texted, or on their phone. The portal is where your staff check that code and act on it. It works in any browser, on any till, phone, or tablet — nothing to install.

Verify Coupon

Confirm a code is genuine and still active. Anyone can do this — no PIN needed.

Redeem Coupon

Mark a code as used once you've honored it. Requires your PIN. Cannot be undone.

!

Flag Invalid

Reject a suspicious or reused code without honoring it. Requires your PIN.

Redemption History

Look up, filter, and export every code your business has handled. Requires your PIN.

02

Getting your PIN

Each business gets one shared PIN — set up by BettahLife, not by you. Give it only to staff who handle redemptions; anyone holding it can redeem or flag codes on your behalf.

i

Don't have a PIN yet, or think it's been shared too widely? Contact your BettahLife account manager to have one issued or reset — from the portal, you can also change it yourself once you're signed in (see §5).

03

At the counter

The two everyday actions, step by step.

Verifying a code

Do this first, always — before you hand over the item or service.

  1. Open Verify Coupon from the portal home screen.
  2. Type in the code exactly as the customer shows it — not case-sensitive.
  3. Read the result — a green banner means it's authentic and still redeemable; anything else explains why not (expired, already used, or not found).

Redeeming a code

Only do this once you've actually given the customer their item or service — it can't be reversed.

  1. Open Redeem Coupon and enter the code plus your business PIN.
  2. Confirm the details on screen match what the customer is claiming.
  3. Submit — the code is now marked used and can never be redeemed again, by anyone.

Flagging an invalid code

Use this instead of Redeem when a code looks wrong — reused, screenshotted from someone else, or otherwise suspicious.

  1. Open Flag Invalid Coupon and enter the code plus your PIN.
  2. Add a short reason if you can — "customer showed a screenshot of an already-used code" is enough. This is optional but helps BettahLife investigate.
  3. Submit — the code is rejected, not honored, and can't be redeemed by anyone afterward.
04

Reviewing your history

Redemption History lists every code tied to your business — useful for reconciling against your till at day's end, or checking a customer dispute.

05

Access & security

A few things built into the portal to keep your business's redemptions safe.

15 min

Auto-lock

An idle session signs itself out after 15 minutes. Stepping away from a shared till won't leave it open.

1 PIN

Per business

One shared PIN scopes every action to your business only — you'll never see another business's codes.

Self-serve

PIN changes

Inside Redemption History, use Change PIN to rotate it yourself — you'll need the current one first.

!

Redeeming and flagging are both final — neither can be reversed from the portal. If either happens by mistake, contact BettahLife support with the code and what happened.
