Coach Guide

Running your coaching business on BettahMe — applying, your portal, your team, members, events and courses, and your BettahCoins wallet.

01

Becoming a coach

There are two ways to get a coach account, and one thing they both give you: a coach dashboard scoped entirely to your own business, right inside the app.

Apply in-app

Become a Coach

From Settings → More → Become a Coach, work through a short application. Once approved, you own a new coach account.

Get invited

Accept an admin invite

An organization can invite you by email as an admin. Accept the deep link and you gain access to their coach — useful for teams running one business together.

The application journey

Coach Info Identity Verification Business Documents Read & Agree to terms Submitted 1–3 business days Approved → Coach Portal Rejected → contact support

What each step asks for

Coach Info — type (Individual or Organization), business name, email, bio, tags, optional subscription price, address, phone, and social links. Identity Verification — at least one of national ID, driver's license, or passport. Business Documents — at least one of business registration, certification, or supporting documents (registration is required if you provide any). Payment Plan — a Monthly or Yearly plan selection. Read & Agree — accept the platform terms on content accuracy, professionalism, and commission.

Individual vs. organization

Individuals run their own solo business and can't invite anyone. Organizations can invite both admins (dashboard access) and members (followers) — if you're building a team, you'll want an organization account.

If you're rejected

There's no in-app appeal or resubmit flow — a rejected application directs you to contact support directly.

02

Your coach portal

Once approved, your Portal is your business's home base — how you look to the public, and a quick glance at what's happening.

Branding

Upload or replace your cover photo and logo directly from the Portal.

At a glance

A stats grid of your members, events, courses, and admin count, plus a summary of your BettahCoins wallet.

Editing your profile

Deeper edits to your business info — name, description, contact details, and social links — happen in the separate Edit Coach screen, using the same fields you filled in during Coach Info.

03

Your team & members

Organization coaches can build out a team; every coach can grow a following.

Inviting admins

From the Admins screen, invite a new admin by email. Pending invitations show alongside your current team; you can revoke a pending invite at any time.

Members

Your Members screen lists everyone following or subscribed to you — free followers and paid members alike, since either way they show up the same. This list is currently view-only; there's no remove action from this screen.

Accepting your own invitations

If someone invites you as an admin, you'll land on a dedicated invitation screen showing the coach's branding and whether the role is admin or member — accept to join, decline to walk away. An expired or already-used invitation shows clearly instead of a broken flow.

04

Events & courses

Everything you create here is scoped to your coach — you'll only ever see your own.

Running an event

Time-bounded activities your members register for and take part in.

  1. Create the event with its category, dates, expected attendance, and optionally a leaderboard type (steps or distance).
  2. Publish it so members can find and register.
  3. Set prizes — up to 50 ranked places, each worth up to 100,000 coins. You'll need enough balance in your wallet to fund them, since coach accounts are balance-bounded.
  4. Distribute prizes once the event ends, based on the leaderboard. This is irreversible, so double-check the standings first.

Running a course

Ordered lessons your members work through at their own pace.

  1. Create the course with its price (or mark it free) and description.
  2. Add lessons in the order you want members to take them — video, article, image, or quiz. A lesson inside a free course is always free.
  3. Publish when it's ready for enrollment.
!

The price you set on an event or course is informational for now — member "Attend" and "Enroll" actions in the current app are a free, single-tap confirmation, not an in-app charge. Treat pricing as a display feature until a payment step ships for that flow.

05

Your BettahCoins wallet

Your coach's Points screen is your wallet — separate from any individual member's balance.

Balance & transactions

See your current coin balance, total purchased, and total awarded, plus a scrollable history of every credit and debit — purchases, prize funding, and coins awarded to members.

Purchasing coins

Top up with a bundle whenever you need more to fund prizes or awards — there's no purchase cap.

Awarding coins

Pick a member, enter an amount, and a reason is required (notes are optional) — useful for recognizing participation outside of an event's automatic prize distribution. The award is checked against your balance before it goes through.

!

Every award or prize funding checks your balance first. If it fails, top up with a coin bundle before trying again.

06

Payments

Coach subscription plans and coin-bundle purchases run through Monnify. There is currently no in-app payments screen surfaced to coaches directly — your business's Monnify transaction history is visible to BettahLife staff and, on request, can be reconciled from the admin panel's Payments tab. See the Admin Guide for what that record looks like.
